DeAndre Kane has been honored by the Big 12, again.
Kane averaged 21.0 points, 6.5 rebounds and 5.0 assists in Iowa State’s wins over Texas and TCU last week. The senior was named the Big 12’s Newcomer of the Week for the third time this season on Monday morning.
Kane, whose field goal percentage was 55.6 last week, has also been the Big 12’s Player of the Week twice this season.
Iowa State (21-5, 9-5) will host West Virginia (15-12, 7-7) on Wednesday night at Hilton Coliseum. The game will tip at 7 p.m. and be televised on on your local Big 12 Network affiliate.
