AMES — Friday was Georges Niang’s night. The sophomore led Iowa State with 24 points in an 85-82 victory over the Iowa Hawkeyes. The crafty forward made 8-of-15 field goal attempts and sunk 8-of-10 free throws as Iowa State improved to 8-0 on the season.
