Stats from the Des Moines YMCA Capital City League generally don’t mean much, but Will Clyburn’s eye-popping 63 point outing from Sunday evening is definitely worth a mention here at CycloneFanatic.com.

Clyburn went 22-for-34 from the field while tacking on 14 rebounds to his box score as well. Clyburn’s 63 points broke the league’s single-game scoring record. It is noteworthy that Clyburn’s Walnut Creek YMCA squad lost the game by a 107-102 final to Patch.com.

Georges Niang and Tyrus McGee, who both play for Patch.com, scored 30 and 25 points respectively.
