According to the Ames Tribune, Iowa State sophomore Matt Thomas was arrested early Saturday morning and charged with an OWI.
Thomas is the second Cyclone to be arrested for the crime in the last two months. Junior Abdel Nader has pleaded not guilty to the charges against him.
According to Iowa State’s student conduct policy, consider Thomas suspended indefinitely for the time being.
Thomas averaged 5.5 points per game as a freshman last season for the Cyclones.
