AMES ---
No worries. The Cyclones are in, but you already knew that. However with the NCAA Tournament's selection show beginning in only a few hours (5 p.m. on CBS), Iowa State could still be heading anywhere.

Before Saturday night's Big 12 Tournament championship win over Baylor, Iowa State appeared to be sitting on the 3-line. However, there is now some momentum out there that suggests the Cyclones could end up as a 2-seed playing in St. Louis over the Joel Embiid-less Kansas Jayhawks (for now), a team that Iowa State defeated by 11 on Friday night in Kansas City.

"I'd have Iowa State clearly on the No. 2 line tonight. Cyclones could even make a case for a 1 if Michigan loses," tweeted ESPN basketball analyst Jeff Goodman. "Iowa State has a dozen wins over at-large NCAA tourney teams -- and six of its seven losses came to tourney teams."

However, Goodman's colleague and well-known "bracketologist," Joe Lunardi, still has the Cyclones as a 3-seed in San Antonio. CLICK HERE to view Lunardi's latest projections.

Goodman isn't the only "expert" that has bumped Iowa State up to a 2-seed though. CBS' Jerry Palm has done the same. CLICK HERE to view Palm's bracket that has the Cyclones meeting up in a 2-15 matchup with UW-Milwaukee in St. Louis. Palm notably has Kansas as a 3-seed in San Antonio.

According to ESPN, Iowa State is currently No. 8 in the RPI. Kansas still looks strong at No. 3.
