Cyclones pick up two commits over weekend

The Iowa State football program picked up not one, but two verbal commitments for its class of 2013 on Saturday – both of whom are offensive linemen.

According to his profile at Rivals.comNick Severs is a 6-foot-4, 250-pound guard out of Macomb, (Ill.). Severs committed on an unofficial visit to Ames over the weekend.

Joining him in making a pledge to the Cyclone Nation was Vincent Johnson, a 6-foot-5, 250-pound lineman out of Sacramento, (Calif.) Christian Brothers. He too unofficially visited Iowa State over the weekend.
