AMES — Every recruiting class has a guy who arrives on campus and instantly impresses everybody he comes into contact with. Last summer, that was Kamari Cotton-Moya. The redshirt freshman free safety suffered an injury last fall camp. Otherwise, he might have played as a true freshman.
