Before we dig into the latest news of the day involving Iowa State and the Big 12, I thought I'd let you all know that the $175 and $225 football season tickets go on sale today. Interested? Iowa State's ticket office number is 888-478-2925.
PHIL STEELE: Football guru Phil Steele recently released his All-Big 12 teams. The following Cyclones were honored:
Jake Knott, LB - First Team A.J. Klein, LB - First Team Jake McDonough, DT - Second Team James White, RB - Third Team Tom Farniok, C - Fourth Team Kurt Hammerschmidt, TE - Fourth Team Kirby Van Der Kamp, P - Fourth Team
GREAT IDEA: You're all up to speed on the Big 12/SEC bowl alliance from late last week by now correct?
My favorite Big 12 columnist, Berry Tramel from The Oklahoman, has an even better idea. How about a scheduling alliance between the two leagues?
Nationally, what's more interesting? What the Big Ten and Pac-12 plan to do or the Big 12 and the SEC? Of course we're all Big 12 people here on this site, but the three letters S-E-C pack quite the punch across America.

JARVIS WEST: I'm not sure who put this together but I did see a fanatic link it on our forum. Being that Jarvis West is one of my favorite Iowa State athletes to watch (colleagues in the media even joke about this from time-to-time) and it is the middle of May, the following YouTube highlight video is roundup worthy.
