I just got done taking a media tour of the flooded Hilton Coliseum.

Here are a few notes concerning Iowa State's facilities.

- How high did the water actually get? “The water was actually up to about the second row of the parquet on the sides, on the north and south," assistant athletic director of event management Nick Britton told reporters during the tour. “Our goal right now is to get the water out of the building and get everyone in here we need to help us do that.”

There are currently four sump-pumps running inside of Hilton to get the water level down. Water is still nearly to the corner scoreboards inside of the facility.

- Iowa State senior associate athletic director of communications Steve Malchow issued this message to Cyclone fans.

“We are a resilient bunch. This is a tough thing that we are going to have to battle together but there are strong-minded people in this athletic department and we’ll survive this too. It is a challenge but one that we will have to embrace.”

- The athletic department hasn't found any damage to Jack Trice Stadium. The only issue that could be around on Sept. 2 is parking. That still isn't known for sure at this time.

- Iowa State's ticket office will be closed on Friday. It was damaged in the flood and will be getting new carpet. If you want to order tickets or do anything like that, you can still do it online.
