Jauan Wesley no longer with ISU football program

Finding a second pass catcher behind Allen Lazard is one of the major focus for Iowa State football this offseason, and that process just took a significant hit. Junior wide receiver Jauan Wesley has left the Iowa State football program, per an ISU spokesman.

"Jauan and I talked and we made the mutual decision it would be best for Jauan to continue his football career at another school,” Iowa State head coach Matt Campbell said through a release.

Wesley started nine games during his sophomore season and was third on the team in catches with 30. His 301 yards was fourth on the team and he added two touchdown receptions.
