LB Breydon Boyd no longer committed to ISU

Three-star Katy, Texas, linebacker Breydon Boyd is no longer part of Iowa State’s class of 2017, as first reported by 247‘s Steve Wilfong. Our Chris Williams is hearing that it was Iowa State’s decision to part ways with Boyd.

The 6-foot-4-inch, 220 pound prospect was rated as the No. 51 inside linebacker in the class by 247. He’d been committed to Iowa State since April.

Iowa State now has 10 commitments in the class of 2017.
