By Chris Williams, CycloneFanatic.com Publisher

The Iowa State football program signed three prospects on Wednesday, all of whom will be on campus second semester and eligible to participate in spring drills.

Cole Morrissey, a 6-foot-4, 245-pound defensive end graduated from Gilbert High School last May. He spent this fall playing junior college ball at Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs. Morrissey will have three years of eligibility in Ames. I interviewed Morrissey the day that he committed to Iowa State. CLICK HERE to check it out.

Clifford Stokes, a 6-foot-1, 175-pound cornerback out of Trinity Valley Community College in Athens, Texas will have two years of eligibility. CLICK HERE to read a story that we published about back on Dec. 13.

And then there’s T.J. Mutcherson, a 5-foot-11, 190-pound safety who graduated from Freedom High School in Tampa Bay in 2010. Mutcherson had been out of school cleaning up some academic issues during the last two seasons, which he has apparently done successfully.

WILLIAMS TO DECIDE THURSDAY: A 6-foot-4, 294-pound offensive lineman out of Orlando (Fla.) Jones High School will make his college decision on Thursday. Duaron Williams has listed Iowa State, Kansas and Central Florida as finalists according to his Twitter feed.

Stay tuned.
