Sound the sirens again. Wednesday evening three-star cornerback from West Bloomfield, Mich., Richard Bowens III tweeted his commitment to Iowa State.
Bowens is rated as a three-star prospect by 247 and is No. 97 cornerback in the class of 2017. He picked the Cyclones over 13 other schools that offered him including Cincinnati, Minnesotta, Syracuse and Toledo.
The 6-foot-1-inch prospect had reportedly received interest from Michigan State and Penn State. He visited Iowa State on April 2.
