Season-opener vs. UNI is sold out

The following is a press release courtesy of Iowa State athletics communications.

AMES, Iowa – If you planned to visit Cyclones.com (or call the Athletics Ticket Office) to purchase single-game tickets to the 2013 football season opener vs. Northern Iowa, it’s too late.

School officials announced Thursday that the game against the Panthers on Aug. 31 is a sellout. For fans, who did not get tickets for the UNI game, it will be telecast live on Cyclones.tv Powered by Mediacom (both the school’s online platform and its soon-to-launch channel on the cable network’s expanded basic package).

There are no tickets available for the Iowa State vs. Iowa game (Sept. 14) either and limited availability for the Texas, Oklahoma State, TCU and Kansas games.

Approximately 200 three-game (Oklahoma State, TCU and Kansas) “mini-packs” remain. Those reserved seats are from tickets returned by the opponents. The mini-packs cost $90 each.
