Shontrelle Johnson is good to go in 2012.

That’s according to the Iowa State Football Twitter feed (@CycloneFB) that posted this announcement early Monday morning.

Iowa State contingent has arrived in Dallas. Coach Rhoads will announce today that Shontrelle Johnson is all cleared medically and will play for the Cyclones this fall.
Johnson, a junior running back out of DeLand, Fla., ran for 218 yards and two touchdowns as a true freshman in 2010. In 2011, Johnson ran for 247 yards in four games before hurting his neck against Texas. Johnson didn’t play a down the rest of the season.
Stay tuned for more on this story in "Monday Musings" later today.
