Also true. I just looked at the bracket. Assuming Askren runs the table, if Backes loses tomorrow morning, he wouldn't see Askren until match 576, the loser of which would wrestle for 7th. If Backes wins, he wouldn't see Askren until the 3rd place match. Either way, by that time Backes would have guaranteed himself a place, which is what I think is really important (especially for a Senior). However, I'd still rather have him run the table to the title match.
