on your way out ot Mt Hood defenitly go and check out some waterfalls, that is if you like waterfalls. Portland does have some great bars and grills (almost 4 on every corner) and make sure to try some of the 'beverages' out that way too. Lots and lots of micro breweries Also there is a Portland underground tour that I went on that wasn't to bad.
