I could be mistaken, but I believe McD has stated he has no desire to play Creighton. Creighton has done a great job making the tournament and especially winning the Mo Valley tourney, but as you said, they have made zero noise once they get there. I do however think they have made it to the second round once, in 2002, correct me if I'm wrong.
I think Creighton is a very strong program right now, and with the exception of SIU they are the premier program in the MVC. However, the assertation that they are getting the same level of recruit
ISU is a lie if you look at recruiting rankings. The have only signed 3 top 150 kids since they have been ranked - Miles, who transferred, Walker and Stinnett. A huge number of the kids they have signed were unranked. They got huge value out of them but their recruiting is not on par with
ISU. Period.
