Regarding Karma, I liked it's short lived life span. Just read the thread in the cave and it seemed that people were getting upset about the neg Karma being seen and people being singled out. I think if it stayed longer and more people were involved with it, it wouldn't have been such a big deal because karma would've been spread around to a lot of people and not have been so noticed. I really don't care if anyone saw that I gave neg Karma to anyone or not or pos either. There definitely is a few people I'd give neg to but didn't want to search for them to just single them out at the beginning, but when I would see a post from them I would have given them that neg Karma. It also seemed a good way to keep track of the members I enjoy reading or don't, because I could see what I have given them. With 4000 plus members it's hard to remember everyone except for the few that post all the time.
As for the thanks. What makes it different than Rep? Every time I wanted to thank somebody I would give them pos. rep. Don't really see the purpose of the Thanks.
