This is what I liked about the premise of Karma. It was set to be an eleven-point system, with a cap that kept people on the same field. We all know that people with the highest rep, karma, thanks, etc. will be the same ones. However, everyone is "closer" with the capped system, instead of being able to be "distanced" from those that don't post a lot.
