But seriously, both schools have a combined enrollment of over 50,000 students. They naturally get a lot of the focus.
Unless Drake actually gets to the NCAA tournament (like UNI did repeatedly), people will take notice. My point is that someone like Drake (a mid-major school) needs to earn respect.
Drake at 9-1 is a story! Stories are what get media attention. There are only so many "Iowa loses to Lu-easy-anna-Monroe" or "Iowa State drops game to Northern Iowa" headlines to go around.
ISU and Iowa need to EARN respect - their programs are off to a rough start
