Iowa has recruited 3 QBs in the 2008 recruiting class - which to me means that the staff is thinking long and hard about the situation for next year. While I don't think JC was a terrible QB (his numbers would support this), he had a few good games, and then some really really REALLY bad ones.
I'd agree though, right now, with what we know,
ISU has the edge in QB. But, that's about all we know right now - the RB situation at Iowa is still up in the air, with the possible return of Shonn Greene. The addition of a pretty powerful JUCO RB may help, and the addition of one or two others will make things interesting.
The matchup next season will be very interesting, and of course I'm going to give advantage Iowa - but it's way too early to make an education prediction, and with the way this rivalry has gone, anything is possible.
