It never ceases to amaze me.
Why would you be surprised to hear that from a hawk fan. 95% are predicting a BCS bowl game prior to any football season that has come for decades.
If I remember correctly, there were a lot of block heads saying they would go at worst 9-3, most likely 10-2, and with any luck they could go 11-1 and be the Big 11 champs this last year and that was extremely fun to watch the backtracking they did to cover those stupid predictions.
I am no more surprised that we hear the 12-0 talk already then I am to watch them pee down down their leg and get booed off their own home field. Fickle fans do things like that.....
