Mac should have left 3 or 4 years ago after the 2000 season and he had the chance to interview at some other schools. I don't think he did because he felt loyal to
ISU.
Well J.P. you've made your decison and I accept it. Now it's up to you to figure out a way to energize the fan and alumni base so that you have a bigger budget to attract a talented coach and keep him. Please give the next guy better tools to work with than Coach McCarney had.
I don't think the closets going to be bare for the new coach, but he's got his work cut out for him....
