FB you have to learn the system and then show your freakish skills (Vince Young). It just seems like more of a sure thing money wise NBA vs. NFL.
It takes a WAY more than just athleticism and raw talent to make the NBA if you are only 6'6. Lots of players dominate high school at his size only to flame out in college or early in their NBA career. Small forward is also VERY tough to make the NBA at. Look at players like Rashon Clark, Craig Brackins and Marcus Fizer. If any of them were the number one player in all of high school football would they have made the right decision for basketball? Athletic small forwards are a dime a dozen, elite quarterbacks with his combo of size speed and a rocket arm are extremely rare.
