Does this happen to anyone else?

Okay, I was listening to the women's basketball game on the radio today. When I tuned in, they were up by six points, but as I listened, K State went on a run and ended the half with a one point lead. I had to turn the game off for some work, but when I started listening again, the Cyclones were up by four or five again in the second half. Unfortunately, as I listened, K State took the lead again. At that point I decided that I was bad luck for the twister sisters and stopped listening altogether. I checked in on the game via espn.com to find out that they had reached overtime and were behind by three, but promptly closed the window for fear that I would jinx the Cyclones. Then they won the game.

I hate the fact that I missed such an exciting game. But I am also convinced that Iowa State did better when I stopped listening. Am I just crazy? Has anyone else done the same thing?
