If Iowa keeps winning and all the personal stories become "this kid's dream was to wrestle for Iowa and now he is going for a national championship," will that hurt the advancement of the sport? From a team standpoint - battles to be second-best aren't as cared about.
What will help is getting some east coast wrestling teams to compete for national titles, might spur more interest from ESPN and help foster wrestling nation wide.

That's one reason why I haven't watched much golf this year. I respect the hell outta Tiger, but I wouldn't mind some diversity. I'm surprised to level of golf hasn't risen lately to his level. Sad.
