I watched a full Womens basketball game for the first time ever last night. I could not beleive how slow the
ISU womens team is compared to Rutgers. My question is Rutgers that quick of a team or do we look this slow against everyone. Is there a recruit that is comming in that can pick up the quickness level of this team? I really like the way they play. Kind of like Drake men's team but at the same time I don't see them getting to the final 4 ever if they don't get some quicker players on that team.
The reports on the 3 recruits coming in next year describe them as a prototype point guard, a combo guard with a good handle and shot, and an athletic forward. Not sure about quickness, but I agree that an upgrade is needed. Improved ball handling coming from the 2 guards should help in handling pressure defenses.
