There's been times when there've been upwards of 55,000 there, so I'm sure against big name teams 60K would be a real possibility.

I don't think we need to do an upper deck bowl. Honestly, I just don't think there is that kind of population in iowa to support 130,000 (kinnick + expanded Jack) people at d-1 football games every saturday, assuming the hawks have a home game too. I think if we bowl in the lower level on the south, we will fill it pretty consistently, but I would rather see the extra money go into stadium beautification, like brick fences, new seats, completing the east concourse, etc, etc. I would take all of that over a bball practice facility. This is all, of course, assuming this rumored deal thing happens... I seriously hope this isn't an April fool's joke
