Uhhhh, you guys prove it every year. Last year most of your fans picked your team to go most likely 9-3, a good chance of 10-2, and with such an easy schedule, 11-1 wasn't out of the realm of possibility. Jon Miller's show was talk of this all summer and early Fall until you got beat by
ISU. Finally then reality set in for some of you.
I have a neighbor who talks all the time about how Iowa's schedule is easier this year then last and is already talking 9-3 crap again. The way you handled last years easy schedule, noone has any clout to talk that stuff again.
Homeristic might not be a word but it fits. Reality isn't a real big personality trait in eastern Iowa.
