The Packers season ticket waiting list is notorious for the long wait time to be eligible to actually purchase season tickets. From what I've read, many fans do indeed put their children, sometimes at birth, on the waiting list, in hope that some day those children will be eligible. I've heard rumors, or maybe stories, that the waiting list position is passed along in wills, as well. Not sure how true that is.
I signed up for the waiting list (hey, it's the cool thing to do

) a few years ago. In 2005, I received the yearly postcard stating that I was 68000-something or other. This past year (2007), I was in the 64000s. I'm feeling kind of panicked about coming up with the money for season tickets in the next "few" years ... Or not.
