Of course...Cotlar had to bust in on Dan Patrick and make the announcement.

Cotlar stated that this is the first time a father/son have both won the award. Tom Davis winning it at Iowa in 1987?

Larry won in 2000, therefore, their have been atleast 3 coaches from the state of Iowa to win.
