ISU either. Two spectacular seasons of winning (created mostly by ONE player) sandwiched between years of mediocrity before and after is not the mark of a great coach or a great program. People who think Larry is a great coach because of what happened in 2000-2001 remind me of those who still think Kirk Ferentz is a great coach because of what happened in 2002-2003. Both have shown that they may get lucky and win big once but both have also shown that they cannot maintain winning programs. Larry continues to be the most overrated coach in our history.
