Iowa won women's cross country, wrestling, softball and one of two women's gymnastics competitions.
Iowa State won men's golf, volleyball, football, men's cross country, women's basketball, women's swimming, men's basketball and the other women's gymnastics competition. The two schools tied in women's soccer.
We would have won the spelling bee, had they included that. They would have won the legal competition, in which the tiebreaker tests who can name the Miranda rights first and fastest.
