i had no idea that so many of you guys like this stuff. most of the students i have talked to hate it.
i am undecided. i did not like the ketchup and mustard colors, but i like the old logos better.
It just means that in 15-20 years, when those that attended
ISU from 1995-2008 (who really love the current logo) are the big money donors for the athletic program, we're going to have yet ANOTHER identity change to appease their tastes.
I went to
ISU smack dab in the middle of the timeframe set above, and I really like the logo that's being phased out, but I really don't mind the new identity so much either and at this point I think it's more important for us as a university to pick an identity and settle on it so the nation can finally identify
ISU with one look instead of changing the identity every 10-15 years to appease the new generation of big money donors and the rest of the nation never being able to identify us.
