However; your logic is failed. Are you trying to show us that the example of Matt's over the counter supplement consumption is the equivalent of the Iowa Wrestling Stength Coach(a leader)? Are you stipulating that one athlete's mistake equals all of the mistakes found in the UoI program, that appears to be a result of the culture of corruption fostered by your head coaches and supported and bolstered by an AD that can't control his staff or athletes?

You certainly aren't saying a kid that was suspended and never allowed to complete a collegiate athletic career is the same as a coach that continues to get paid and lead athletes in the same sport he was just suspended from by international sports governing body?

This isn't a case of pot meet kettle, it is more an example of you longing to justify a culture of corruption as a Hawk fan. The saying goes "ignorance is bliss."-enjoy your bliss filled day.

No..... I'm saying ISU has had a run-in with an athlete getting in trouble by the NCAA due to use of a banned substance.

The point is, this doesn't make Iowa City's culture "corrupted". It means one person made a stupid mistake. I know, the response is going to be tying this in with all the problems that occurred with the football team, and so on and so forth. That's been beaten to death.

I know people seem to think that the culture in Iowa City is so different than that of Ames, and that Iowa athletes are the worst of worst scum in the world, but the fact of the matter is, that's ignorant.

ISU Student - Iowa fan. Best of both worlds.
