I know some of you will say he fills a hole in the front for us next year, he will let others to play their natural role, etc. but that holds ONLY if he is a quality contributor, but I doubt he will be.
Some will say never to trust these recuiting gurus, but come on, are we better than them? Yes you can not say a 2nd best player is definitely better than a 5th best player, but in most cases, they donnot mistaken a 5th best player with a 53nd best juco player.
. I had a hard time following you here cheng...is he or is he not a 2nd teamer? Also, how many times have you seen him play and what are your qualifications for evaluating him? Some major programs were after him and I don't think they were probably scraping the bottom of the barrel so even though I haven't seen him play and don't know a lot about him I feel pretty good about signing him. The more big bodies the better...and it seems to me that UCONN has produced a few decent posts the last several years and they wanted him badly. |

“I’m just glad I have Homan as my bodyguard,” Eustachy joked. “If I ever make it real big and get to drive a limo everyday, he’ll be driving it. I thought he came off the bench like somebody was stealing his cow or something.” http://blogs.dmjuice.com/?cat=43 |
