It has nothing to do with "overachieving". It has everything to do with beating them when we have a better football team than they do. There has been extensive posts on this subject, where posters (who are more motivated to keep track of these things than I am) demonstrate that in the years when
ISU beats them, they simply had the better team. Period.
But they just cannot admit that, in their delusional arrogance and ignorance.
