I'm not sure what the surgery was for, they might have just been cleaning something up or taking preventative measures. Look at Tiger Woods, he had surgery a couple days after finishing second at the Masters and he sure as hell didn't look injured.
I was right. According to Dolph today Bernstine and Bulaga both had "shoulder clean-up" from high school injuries.
