This type of thing, along with all of the other circus type media events that are staged by Congress, are nothing more than a slap in the face to the American public. They must honestly believe that by tackling superficial pop culture type issues, the ignorant American public will believe that they are tackling "real issues".
Any elected representative that brings such utter crap to the table should be immediately recalled to their respective state, as they are doing nothing other than wasting tax dollars in a smoke and mirrors attempt to look productive. |
