ISU has used them for day games that run late. They spent $80 mill and they did put up lights. WTF.
1, it was a joke. Why are people so touchy today?
2, because Iowa hardly ever has night games, and with their deal with MUSCO, they don't have to worry about installing permanent lights. It's cheaper the way they do it.
EDIT: There are lights on top of the press box, just in case a game does run later in the afternoon.
