I am a Hawk fan and I think this is a good question. I still have hope JC can turn it around. I witnessed Matt Rodgers turn it around when I was in undergrad at Iowa.
I definitely have no problem with
ISU fans who are skeptical about JC. I would expect them to not want to trade one of there qb's for him.
The book will be written in a couple of years.
Normally, I would never trade a qb, with a year's starting experience, for an unproven qb. JC is 7-6 as a starter, but has not been impressive.
I have no clue, who will be the best qb in the state this year--it is clearly up for grabs.
