ISU QB. I'm just saying - there are far more factors than just JC's stats. He swallowed the ball too much, but he wasn't too terribly bad for a first year starter. Given the lack of o-line play and inability of the WRs to hold onto the ball, I'd say he was almost decent at times.
If someone just checked the box score on Sunday and didnt actually watch Iowa's games, people would think JC is a much better QB than he showed. His stat lines were great for a 1st year QB. But when watching him you notice they had seemingly millions of chances for 1st down but passes were often over/under thrown or dropped. Or he would get nervous and get moving around too much for his own good. Hes not to completely blame for last year, but im not sad to see him as the starter at
EIU for the next 2 years.
