people are blowing this question off too early. it isn't a bad one. two totally unproven QB's who have hardly even played (Bates not really at all at that position) or a guy who has proven himself at a mediocre college QB. Hard to choose. Would I take JC and a 6-6 record at Iowa State? yeah, sure. We only won 3 games last year, that is a +3 improvement. But you also have Arnaud and Bates....1 of them could be worse than that, 1 could be better. They both have upsides and downsides, it is just too early to say. Do I think either or both of them combined could be better than JC? Yes, absolutely. Could they be less than average? of course. I guess we all will see. College football. Iowa State Cyclones.
