Seems like this kid has a lot of upside (and size!). We should make sure that we don't let him go to
EIU or leave the state (he's from WDM)
David Barrent - Football Recruiting As it turns out, the player closest to cracking the top 100 is making his debut in the 250. West Des Moines (Iowa) Valley offensive tackle David Barrent is one of many names to become familiar with on the new list.
Barrent, who is 6 feet 8 and 290 pounds, checks in at No. 101 in the Rivals250. The big man has offers from Iowa, Illinois, Nebraska, Michigan State and others, and he could become a member of the Rivals100 before he's done. He's big and raw, but his upside is tremendous.
