Re: Bret Meyer Signs...

I think alot of you forget some of the shine Bret showed early on, Anyone remember 345 yards and a handful of touchdowns in 2004 against Nebraska, Does anyone remember his independence bowl production? Bret has very good intangibles and he will work hard to become successful at some level. Yes he fell off his last two seasons, but the team did as a whole, and frankly i believe that has alot to do with Bret's performance. a 2006 Go-To Todd Blythe was cold, injured and suffered epstien-barr virus and never really regained his swagger. That Texas A&M game in College Station? Bret Has the potential underneath his skin and ive seen it. Dont discredit the guy for the whole teams downfall in his last two seasons. The guy truely stuck his neck out for ISU football.
