Miller Park has some huge depths to the stadium, thus the UD goes further back at not as steep a slope as a place like US Cell. It just happens that way... sorry you felt like you were too far from the action. Not many new ballparks will be designed with the UD on top of the lower bowl like the Fenways, Wrigleys etc...
Eh, I'm rarely unhappy at a baseball game.
I still think Principal Park in Des Moines is one of the nicest parks I've been to.
