Valpo had their moment ten years ago when they made the Sweet Sixteen with Bryce Drew hitting that game winning shot we see every March, and Homer Drew is a good coach and seems like one of the real good guys in coaching, but I really don't think they can be called one of the "top mid-major programs in the country" every year. I don't think they've been in the NCAA tournament since 2000, when they were a #16 seed playing Michigan State in the first round. I may be wrong on that, but I think there are a lot better mid-major programs around.

That being said, best of luck to Cory. Sounds like a really great kid and I would love to see him be successful at Valparaiso.
