No, the point was that accepting talented tranfers makes Chizik seem like some kind of talent hog, and has no regard for his current players. I say that's nonsense.
Not the least because before Chizik ever accepted any kid, he'd interview him to decide whether he could make a fresh start or not. That's the point of this thread...
if Chizik decided to offer Perrilloux, would you welcome him?
As far as some of you who say that Perilloux is on his 'fifth' chance...that's nonsense as well. LSU was his first chance, his next school will be his second.
And I don't want to hear about people ripping on Perriloux from anything that happened in February, unless they have also worked through the loss of a parent. Grieving is not only a disruptive process, but one that takes at least a year to work through...which is why Ryan, regardless of where he goes, woul;d benefit from a year spent on the bench, let alone in anonymity.
