No, the point was that accepting talented tranfers makes Chizik seem like some kind of talent hog, and has no regard for his current players. I say that's nonsense.
Not the least because before Chizik ever accepted any kid, he'd interview him to decide whether he could make a fresh start or not. That's the point of this thread...if Chizik decided to offer Perrilloux, would you welcome him?
As far as some of you who say that Perilloux is on his 'fifth' chance...that's nonsense as well. LSU was his first chance, his next school will be his second.
And I don't want to hear about people ripping on Perriloux from anything that happened in February, unless they have also worked through the loss of a parent. Grieving is not only a disruptive process, but one that takes at least a year to work through...which is why Ryan, regardless of where he goes, woul;d benefit from a year spent on the bench, let alone in anonymity.
OK... Lets not get confused here... LSU GAVE HIM a 2nd chance after he screwed up while there. Then they gave him a 3rd chance, then a 4th.
ISU would or anyone be his SECOND team. Not his second chance. His current team gave him extra chances, but obviously that doesn't count if you don't get thrown off.
Again he may or may not beat out Bates or Arnauld but why mess with chemistry??
Also, as far as the question goes, would I welcome him... HECK no
